Bitmex Fees
By now I suppose you know the basics of how maker and taker fees work on Bitmex. If you have no idea what I am talking about see order types's article's market and limit orders section.
In this article, I will just include some tables of fees on different currencies and show you how much can you actually save using the referral program.
Fees of perpetual contracts

In this table, you might have noticed a new fee type settlement fee, which is a fee paid on future settlement. It applies only to XBT futures.
As you can see it is useful to use referral program. Depending on your trading volume you might save a lot. If Steve made his accounts he did not use referral because he had never heard of it. Now, of course, he regrets it, so don’t be like Steve and use a referral link if possible.
